Your first shift
Clock In: Five Steps for the First Hour
- Read the label, not the art. Aim at a case and its line reads Title [Genre] - Disk N; the 32 genre signs tell you which rack it belongs to.
- Pick up with E, sort the stack with the scroll wheel. Your hand holds a few cases at first (2 / 6 in the screenshots); see the beginner guide for the full control list.
- Feed the skill tree early. Sorting earns the gems the skill tree spends, and filling racks also earns the separate currency Jeff's slot machine runs on.
- Unlock Jeff's Gamble World. The slot machine by the entrance can pay out skill points, buffs or an auto-sorted shelf; here is how it works.
- Hunt the plushies. Hidden plush toys give boosts such as extra hand slots; the speedrun achievement is out of reach without them.

How big is the mess?
The biggest pile in the sorting genre so far
Item counts from each game's Steam description, checked 2026-10-02. Librarian is the game that started the trend; Tamae says playing Cellar Keeper on stream is what made him build this one. Compare all four →

Who Restocks These Pages
Game Keeper: Somebody Messed Up My Shop! Wiki is an independent, unofficial fan resource for Game Keeper: Somebody Messed Up My Shop! players — not affiliated with VeinStudios.
- How we verify: Numbers come from the Steam store page, VeinStudios announcements, the developers' own devlog video and the official screenshots (the in-game HUD reads 0 / 4290 cases and 0 / 650 series). If a player report disagrees with those, the page says so instead of picking a side.
- Update cadence: Launch week: pages are re-checked daily against new Steam announcements and player findings; after that, within two days of any patch note.
- What we don't do: No pirated download links, no "free key" offers and no invented collectible locations. Plush positions get listed only once they are confirmed in footage.
